How to Play Hana Kana
The game begins after choosing your character set.
Type Romaji
keyboard input in the card's text field, pressing ENTER to submit.
Repeat for as many cards as you can. Cards will turn
green if correct, red for incorrect. The scoreboard will show current game info and
display messages as you play.
You are allowed up to 15 incorrect entries before
the game will finish automatically. Chances left are displayed on the scoreboard. If
you run out of chances, you will receive 2 stars for your effort.
If you complete all Kana, press the "Finish" button
to see your star rating. Star ratings are calculated based off percentage of correct
answers. The timer is for reference and does not affect star rating. 4 minutes (or
about 2 loops of the theme song) would be considered a great time. The top star
rating is 5.
You can exit early by pressing the "Finish" button
at any time. You must attempt atleast 51 cards to receive a star rating higher than
1 if exiting early.
